Yes, you can withdraw from a course. How much you get back depends on when you ask.
How much you get back
- Before the course starts: what you paid, minus a $100 processing fee. For example, $729 paid gives $629 back.
- After the start date, until the deadline: 50% of what you paid, with no processing fee on top. For example, $729 paid gives $364.50 back.
- After the deadline: no refund. The deadline is the end of day 7 after the start date (for some courses, the end of the 10th of the month the course starts instead). Your own dates are on the withdrawal page in your account. Moving to another start date does not restart the deadline: it is based on the earlier of the date you first bought and your new date.
- If we cancel your course: a full refund, with no processing fee.
Days are counted in US Eastern time. The $100 processing fee covers card fees and admin cost. The $25 fee for moving to another start date is not refunded. There is no registration fee. Some courses have their refunds handled by support instead; the withdrawal page says which.
Course sets
If you bought a course set, refunds are handled by support, case by case. A partial amount may be refunded. Email support@learnstatistics.org to ask.
How to withdraw
Sign in and fill in the withdrawal form. Pick the course and send it. Or email support@learnstatistics.org. A person reviews every request and emails you. Your refund goes back to the card you paid with.
